Enjoy a night out tasting some amazing wines! And all for a good cause!

BWCF announces A Grape Night Out, a wine tasting event to benefit The Center for Great Expectations, a charity that helps adult and young women and their children through homelessness, pregnancy and addiction recovery.

Tickets are $25 for a single ticket, and $40 if you buy two tickets at the same time!

Get those tickets before the 31st of October, and you get a super discount too!

If you buy the tickets at the venue, then they are $30 each. So don’t wait!

Ticket price includes:

Admission,
A wine glass,
Tickets for 4 more wine tastings, and,
Finger foods.

You can buy extra wine tastings at the venue! They are just $5 for 4 more tastings! If you want to enjoy an extra glass (or two) of wine, then its just $5 for a glass.

Now isn’t that simply great!

Sip your wine and enjoy live music played by Michael Ronstadt. He is the nephew of Linda Ronstadt, a Grammy winning singer and record producer.

And finally, we will have a basket raffle and a mystery wine will be unveiled!

This time our Bunco program will help raise funds that will benefit The Center for Great Expectations. This is an organization that helps adult and young women and their children through homelessness, pregnancy and addiction recovery.

Promoting the messages in the “Dove – For Real Beauty Campaign,” the Business Women’s Charitable Foundation (BWCF) is sponsoring interactive Mother – Daughter self-esteem workshops on April 9^th in the Hunterdon County community. The program is ideal for Mother and their Daughter who are within the ages of 8-14.

“Our workshop touches on many of the confusing issues our young girls face around the subject of beauty,” says Cynthia Schick, board member of the BWCF. “We help them understand what the real definition of beauty is in a culture that unfortunately idolizes celebrities and magazine covers,” she added.

2 Hunterdon County Women to Receive BWCF Scholarship

Two Hunterdon County women are one step closer to achieving their dream of becoming business owners, thanks to The Business Women’s Charitable Foundation (BWCF) scholarship awards program. After meeting a selected list of criteria, Jill Davis of Port Murray and Teresa Eggers of Belvidere has received $1000.00 scholarship awards to be applied to becoming a first time entrepreneur. The funds will help each of them bring their life experience, passion, creativity and business management skills together to make their dream of business ownership a reality.

Exploring Your Many Career Options – Seeking Sponsors and Vendors

Two Hunterdon County business groups are coming together to host a Career Exposition targeting the many people who find themselves in career transition. The host for the “Career Exploration Exposition” is the Business Woman’s Charitable Foundation (BWCF) and the main sponsor is the Hunterdon Chapter of New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO).

The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will be held at Roman Jewelers building in Flemington.

‘Fall into Style’ at the First Annual Image Workshop,

Afternoon Tea and Fashion Show

Interactive workshops, fun fashions and an afternoon tea will be the main events at a fundraiser hosted by Business Women’s Charitable Foundation (BWCF). The afternoon social will be held at the Beaver Brook Country Club in Annandale on Sunday, November 2nd from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Ladies of all ages are invited to spend an afternoon interacting with vendors, participating in image workshops and enjoying fall fashions from the many Hunterdon County retail shops that will decorate the runway.

After meeting a selected list of criteria, Dana Lane of Holland Township and Deborah Lavine of Lebanon will receive $1000.00 scholarship award to be applied to opening a business and becoming an entrepreneur for the first time. The fund will help each of them bring their life experience, passion, creativity and business management skills together to make their dream of business ownership a reality.
